Mates dates are a series of books. this book is number 4. sleepover secrets is about a girl called TJ who's best friend has moved to Canada. TJ is a tomboy, she can beat all the boys at arm wrestle and any sports but when she has to kiss them she is terrified! She turns into Noola the alien girl. when her brother (who she is really close to as a brother) makes a shock announcement that he is going to be going travelling for a year with his girlfriend TJ feels destroyed. she makes friends with izzie, lucy and nesta near the begian of the book. she has to make a mag to become editor of the school one but has a challange with her dedley enmy trying to turn everyone against her and flushing her mag down the toliet that all her friends family and lucy's brother steve helped them with. they do a 2 image photo on her by making her look horrible and ugly in one and then they do a makeover on her andshe get's to kiss the boy of her dreams scott but it dosn't feel right. will she relise she is falling for the wrong person? Can her new friends help her turn a few heads or will she be Noola the alien girl forever?

I would give this book 5 stars because it is really exciting to see what happens and she has to make lots of strange and funny decisions as well.

My worst best friend is about a girl called Gracie who has a best friend called savanna. ''Promise me you'll always be my best friend Gracie,'' said Savanna. ''No matter what happens. Promise. Promise. Promise.'' I laughed. ''Of course I will,'' I promised. Gracie thought that Savanna would be her best Friend forever. they has everything planned. where they were gonna live together and what they were gonna do, what colour the walls were gonna be. Everything. But when Savanna starts going out with a new collage man Morgan. Gracie has to start keeping secrets from everyone which she hates. As her mum ran away when she was little her and her dad have never kept secrets from each other so she finds it hard. When Gracie won't do it anymore Savanna is really upset but get's over it. I would rate this book 5 stars because it is a funny and entertaning book. After a dister at the chool Disco can Savanna and Gracie stay friends or will they drift apart?

When her mum wins the lottery, Jayni feels really worried that her dad will spend it on something dodgy. They all celebrate at T.G. Fridays. When her mum gets very drunk jayni is worried so when her dad tells her to go to bed she won't because she is seared that her dad will start to hit her mum again. She is very cheeky to him and he slaps her hard. He runs off to the pub and her mum will not have him hit her so they pack there bags and run. They go to London with the money and stay in a Fancy hotel. When the money starts to run out her mum has to find a new home for them to live in. It is a grotty old flat that smells. Her mum gets a new job at the local pub when she goes out to by some fags for her nerves. Her mum gets a new boyfriend Jake who is at collage. He has no money or home of his own. When her mum gets cancer he leaves them. When her mum goes in for an operation Jayni has to look after her brother but her mum has to stay in longer then she expected. Jayni runs out of money and has to ask her neighbours for some food. She phones up her aunty Barbra for some cash but she ends's up coming to live with them because her mum is still in hospital. i would rate this book 4 1/2 stars because i would really like to know the ending but it was a funny but scery book at thwe same time. will her mum beat the cancer?

Jess is moving. when her mum dies Jess moves in with her gran. when her Dad get's a new job at number.1 porchester park Jess is sceard. when she moves she tries to fit in but she finds it hard when only a-listers live in the apartment blocks worth over 20 million pounds. when her beloved cats dave (she has had him scince he was a kitten) is taken away because mr. horrible knight says no staff pet's aloud she is hartbroken. when she has to go on a shopping trip with horrible snotty alisha she does not like the rudness that alisha gives to her mother (but that is because she is missing her friends from LA) she thinks she will never be friends with her. But she does in the end. At the end she goes to her swimming race, but it is the first without mum. b ut when she is swimming she knows that her mum is always with her and swims for her mumj and wins!!! All her friends are there and the 2 boys she fances are there. they both like her so what will shedo? will she pull through living with her dad?

Lily alone is about a girl called lily whos mum is rubbish at chossing men. when pixes dad dies her mum just stairs into space so lily tells her to go on a a night out. when her mum stays out more then half the nigh lily is sceard. lily finds out she has found a new fellow. when her mum goes on holiday with her new boyfriend lily is left alone to fend for herself and her brothers and sisters. they end up in a park so noone will find them. Her brother baxter and sisters pixie and bliss find it very amuzing and like having lily as there mum. lily is finding it hard finding food and shelter for them. when something bad happens to bliss what will she do?
