Mates dates are a series of books. this book is number 4. sleepover secrets is about a girl called TJ who's best friend has moved to Canada. TJ is a tomboy, she can beat all the boys at arm wrestle and any sports but when she has to kiss them she is terrified! She turns into Noola the alien girl. when her brother (who she is really close to as a brother) makes a shock announcement that he is going to be going travelling for a year with his girlfriend TJ feels destroyed. she makes friends with izzie, lucy and nesta near the begian of the book. she has to make a mag to become editor of the school one but has a challange with her dedley enmy trying to turn everyone against her and flushing her mag down the toliet that all her friends family and lucy's brother steve helped them with. they do a 2 image photo on her by making her look horrible and ugly in one and then they do a makeover on her andshe get's to kiss the boy of her dreams scott but it dosn't feel right. will she relise she is falling for the wrong person? Can her new friends help her turn a few heads or will she be Noola the alien girl forever?

I would give this book 5 stars because it is really exciting to see what happens and she has to make lots of strange and funny decisions as well.
